Curriculum
Good communication skills will help children to be confident and express thoughts and ideas effectively in speech and in writing. Children are encouraged to read fluently, accurately, write legibly with the sense of enjoyment, good understanding and present their work attractively.
Through interactive lessons to develop child’s mathematical understanding. This helps in the application of numeracy skills, with speed and accuracy. Students are shaped with an awareness of mathematical concepts from root level in comparison with real world, understanding of its usage.
Curiosity, discovery and problem solving help children respect the environment, develop an understanding of their own and other religions, demonstrate respect and tolerance of other people’s race , faith and culture, making them global citizens.
Information Technology is made accessible to the children, to take full advantage of the technological aspects, use it as a tool for learning and gaining information.
Creativity is one of the fundamentals to successful learning of Science, providing opportunities to explore, express themselves physically, musically and artistically, being imaginative and learning by doing with curiosity.
To improve the skills of co-ordination, control and swift movements by exposing them to various sporting activities also with the facilitation of Drill, Yoga and Meditation practice.

Children performing arts helps them think creatively, improves their mental and imagination skills.
The school sensitize the students towards aesthetic sensibility and gradually channelise them to learn performing arts such as music and dance. Children are taught to listen, accompany and appreciate a variety of musical styles and dancing styles. Viz. folk songs, festival songs, and patriotic songs. They are encouraged to understand the art of enactment, drama and as their confidence grows new doors open for them to showcase their talents and brings self-confidence.
We at Omkar, emphasize on learning by doing so, different clubs of school undertake various activities which help the students in having a harmonious development of their personality.

To enhance the students’ participation in various cultural and co-curricular activities, students of class III onwards are grouped into houses namely:

•Sapphire – Blue – denoting Integrity
•Ruby – Red – denoting Courage
•Emerald – Green – denoting Peace
